My art collective, I cofounded in 2022, The Tsismosas Art Collective, just had a wonderful workshop on August 14th to help fund our future exhibitions, events, and pop up markets. We are gearing up for our upcoming October art exhibition in celebration of Filipino American History Month!
Photos from The Tsismosas’ August 14th Workshop, titled, “Expressing Life Through Color; An Intuitive Paint and Sip” are below!
For details on upcoming events, be sure to check out the Events tab in the website menu! I also enjoy sharing my experiences in the art world through event recaps and reflections on my blog. Visit the Blog section to explore past highlights, current happenings, and future events! OR you can scroll to the bottom of this page and click on whatever blog or event you would like to read about!
Our second show of 2024 is called, “Balikbayan; Coming Home To Your Whole Self”.
Tsismosas Art Collective’s art exhibition week, October 22-27, 2024 was a glorious success!

Tsismosas Art Collective: “Pangarap; Speaking Dreams Into Reality” Debut: May 2024 (our 1st show as an official art collective)
“I am over the moon and honored to announce that I cofounded an ALL FEMALE, Filipina art collective, with five other multidisciplinary sister artists in May 2024! This has been TWO years in the making and a lifetime dream to establish an art collective! The BONUS is we are debuted as a new art collective during AANHPI Heritage Month and in one of the greatest art cities in the world: NYC!”

“As a collaborative group of Filipina artists based in NYC (Lenapehoking-occupied land), each with diverse artistic backgrounds, our mission is to empower, inspire, and shed light on the often marginalized narratives, struggles, and histories of AAPI/BIPOC communities through art exhibitions, inclusive community gatherings, and innovative creative initiatives.”
